Program Details
The National Park Service's Dedication Day Ceremony observed the 150th Anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The event took place in the Soldiers' National Cemetery. The ceremony began with a wreath laying ceremony at the Rostrum in the Soldiers' National Cemetery.
The highlight is approximately 15 minutes:
- U.S. Marine Band plays the same song from 1863
- Jon Jarvis – Director of National Park Service
- Sally Jewell – Secretary of the Interior
- James Getty – portraying PRESIDENT LINCOLN gives the GETTYSBURG ADDRESS
- Battle Hymn of the Republic
